1. Furnish AABC approved baseballs, lights (if needed), umpires, scorekeeper and all other general expenses. 2. Two umpires per field. MUST be AABC registered. 3. Host Fee of $125.00 MUST be paid to state office prior the start of the tournament. 4. All teams entering the Regional Qualifier or State Tournament will pay an Entry Fee amount as determined by the Host Association.Gate fees cannot exceed $350.00. 5. All tournaments will end with an AABC approved double elimination tournament. 6. MUST have one (1) winner from each state tournament. Second place team may be invited to regional tournament if space opens up.
Attach a copy of your tournament schedule, including teams, with this form. All teams MUST be certified. Winner’s roster MUST be submitted to the age commissioner at the conclusion of tournament. Play by AABC of Florida Rules & Regulations and or AABC Handbook. 2. All teams will be certified per AABC of Florida guidelines. (Note: Six (6) league games for team and three games played for players must be met to be eligible for State Tournament.) 3. All games will be played to the required innings unless the Time Limit or Run Rule is enforced. 4. Suggested Time Limit: (Determined by Tournament Director) a. 7-8 / 9-10 - (6) innings - No new inning will start after one hour and thirty minutes (1:30). b. 11/12 – (7) innings - No new inning will start after one hour and forty five minutes (1:45). c. Home team will complete last at bat if behind and a new inning starts before the time limit expires. 5. Run rule: a. 7-8 / 9-10 – eight (8) rules after 31/2 or 4 innings. b. 11/12 – eight (8) runs after 41/2 or five (5) innings. c. Home team will complete last at bat if behind and a new inning starts before the time limit expires. 6. Team pickups for post-season will be made at the usual time within your Association or League. 7. Teams MUST confirm that they will be playing in the Southeast Region I and World Series. If you are not planning to advance beyond the State Tournament PLEASE do not enter a State Tournament. 8. If a team wins a state tournament and does not advance to the Regional Tournament, TEAM AND ASSOCIATION may be subject forfeit fee or suspension. 9. Winner’s roster MUST be turned into the age commissioner after the tournament is over. 10. Once a team has qualified to advance to the Regional Tournament from a State Tournament, they will not be eligible to play in any further AABC of Florida Tournaments. 11. Number of teams advancing from State Tournament to Regional Tournament is determined by State Director.
